Last month, after reading through a number of posts and reviews on Instagram about a short animated film of a boy and some friends. I decided to sit down and watch it: "The Boy, The Mole, The Fox, and The Horse." The film struck a deep chord in me, offering an orchestra of emotions: of confidence and optimism in particular.
Sometimes, when we get lost, we get scared. Little do we know, we actually need to be -- at some point. Although, it may be freightening, perhaps it is necessary to build our resilience and courage.
Being lost lets you navigate on your own, weaving through different directions, trying to find the best way out. We continue to wander, even if we're uncertain if the path ahead is safe. If darkness looms, or danger is imminent. There's no guarantee for it. You just need to put your foot on the ground and faith as your compass believing there might be people along who can guide your way.
In the end, your only guard is having a kind and loving heart and belief that you have the spirit of happiness and courage to be in a place that will lead you back home. Home where the lights shine and bring you the glimmer of HOPE.
